The Role – First Officer on Cessna Citation Mustang
Astonjet is seeking a rated or non-rated First Officer on the Cessna Citation Mustang (C510). In this role, you will support the Captain in the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and service.
You will represent Astonjet with discretion and professionalism in all client interactions. A strong interest in MEDEVAC operations, combined with a high level of availability and flexibility, are essential for this position.
This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in a structured operational environment and can serve as a genuine stepping stone within a growing international group.
Main Duties
The First Officer operates charter and medevac flights under the authority of the Captain, contributing to passenger safety, comfort, and overall service quality throughout all phases of the flight.
Key responsibilities include:
assisting with pre-flight and post-flight inspections;
participating in flight preparation, including documentation review, weather analysis, and performance calculations;
operating the aircraft in compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures;
maintaining clear and effective communication with the flight crew, ground staff, and operational teams.
The First Officer contributes to a safe, professional, and positive cockpit environment and participates in recurrent training and proficiency programs to maintain skills and compliance with company standards.
Job requirements
EASA ATPL License or CPL/IRME Licence
Type Rating: Cessna Citation Mustang C510 type rating is appreciated but not mandatory
Flight Hours: Minimum of 300 total flight hours /150h PIC / 100 hours IFR
Languages:
French proficiency (ICAO Level 6 mandatory)
English proficiency (ICAO Level 5 mandatory)
